Still Becoming
We meet each moment as the newest version of ourselves, carrying what we've learned and remaining open to who we're becoming.
Teresa Streit
It's not all about me but it's a lot about me.
We meet each moment as the newest version of ourselves, never the finished one. This space is my way of sharing the lessons that move me forward and giving my loyal readers a glimpse into what sparks inspiration in this wonderfully chaotic world. So settle in, take a breath, and dive into any post.

About Me.
My career has always been rooted in the chemistry lab within pharmaceutical manufacturing. I spent a short time on the quality side, but eventually landed in investigation writing — something I’d been wanting to do for a long time. Most days, I genuinely enjoy the work.
Education
1996
B.S. in Biology
Minor in Chemistry
University of West Alabama
I’ve always had a deep appreciation for biology and science — it’s just how I’m wired. I wouldn’t call myself a tree hugger, but I do believe in using our renewable resources wisely. College wasn’t easy for me, but I pushed through and made it.
1990
High School Diploma
Charles Henderson High School
Troy, Alabama
As I write this, it’s been more than 35 years since I graduated high school. I’m 53 now — and honestly, that number still surprises me.
