It’s hard to believe it’s been over 12 years since I posted last on this site. I’ve written a lot that I can and will post here. I renamed my website as a tribute to my mother who passed when I was 8 years old. I spent many years not thinking much about her while I made a life for myself. Over the past few years, I’ve thought more and more about her and the rest of my family. My family consists of Dad(Harold), Mom (Gloria), my sister (Julie), and Elizabeth. Elizabeth is just Elizabeth. We call ourselves sisters, but ours is an undefined relationship. It’s everything and nothing. It is a gift that keeps on giving.

This is a tribute to Mom.

new year next version of me

I got strong enough to stand up for myself in a way I haven’t in previous years. I performed a mental reset throughout 2025. I’ve written new daily goals, created new checklists, and organized my phone apps.

What’s on the list? Read the Bible, exercise, track food/water/weight, read, write and a couple more. I’m doing something new for review this year. I count the number of items I complete daily. I will keep a running total with a goal of 1800. No percentages. No grade. Just data. Why? Data doesn’t lie. When a soundtrack says any form of not enough, I argue and refer to my tracker. I will be busy focusing on my priorities infused with fun.

I’ve deleted my social media apps. I plan to be more connected to my friends in a more organic way. I want to interact with them other than sending reels. It’s also a way to turn down the noise of other people’s opinions.

I am looking forward to the challenges, joys, and peace of each day.

More to come soon.
