Into the Rainbow

Think "Somewhere over the rainbow where dreams you dare to dream really do come true."
Through the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, you can live your dream. Choose wisely, because this isn't a three wish thing. You get one wish.
This might be the beginning of my dream.
It is my ninth birthday party. Mom made me my favorite cake. Yellow cake with chocolate frosting and we have vanilla ice cream WITH sprinkles. A few of the neighborhood kids are there. Maria, Carlotta, Eric Green from third grade(dark hair and those big green eyes. I know what I like), my sister, Julie, and a bunch of family.
My family from Tennessee was on vacation and just happened to be driving through, so they were even there. I hadn't see Uncle David, Aunt Alison, and Elizabeth for a while. Elizabeth is only two years old, so they don't take a lot of long road trips yet.
Dad even stopped by since he was able to get away from work. His construction company is pretty busy, so I'm always glad to see him. It's kind of weird that Mom and Dad aren't together any more, but at least I get to see both of them and they don't argue any more. Also, presents from parents in two households! Can I get a high five on that?!
My favorite birthday gift was a Barbie named Teresa. Julie even played Barbies with me since it was my birthday. That was pretty amazing, because I'm not even sure she likes me most of the time. She's twelve. Enough said. She might read this.
